First Day of Summer & Deck Railing

Zane was thrilled to have his first day of summer.  We got our traditional slushy in the morning.  Of course we arrived at the Kum & Go and their machine was out-of-order.  With a very disappointed face, Zane said, maybe some other time.  Luckily, we had plenty of time so I drove to another near by Kum & Go and got him one.

Our home improvements continued last weekend.  We got the deck railing completed and stained and the front door exterior trim painted as well as the interior of the front door and back door painted.  We are literally worn out, but what a huge improvement.

Interior door, it had been just primed white.  I painted the back door the same color.  This is Behr Cracked Pepper.
