Painted House

We have been anxiously waiting for our house to be painted since February.  It didn't go quite as we'd hoped.  Last week our house was painted.  They finished it in 1 day.  I was really excited but in the back of my mind I was thinking the salesman told us it would take about 1 week (wash, scrape/prep & two coats), how did they get it done so quick.  They power washed one day and painted two coats the next day by 3pm.  That just doesn't sound right. Nonetheless, it looked so much better and it looked like they did a great job.  My husband wasn't thrilled from the start because they got some paint on the deck and painted our rocks in our landscaping.  I was just so excited about how much better it looked that I was overlooking some of that.

Now a week later and we are seeing more and more spots they missed and now paint peeling.  You can't tell me they did two coats and missed the same places twice.  Pretty sure we got 1 coat of paint and there was very little scraping and no caulking.  Plus I think the siding was not entirely dry, hence the bubbling & peeling.  I walked around the entire house tonight making a two page list of everything wrong and it is really burning me up now.  We paid a lot of money.  So Dave talked to them today and the owner apologized and said they want to be sure we are satisfied.  We have someone from the company coming to look at the job tomorrow.  From a distance it looks great, but look closely and not so great.
