6 Year Anniversary

Saturday, we celebrated 6 years of marriage.  Sometimes it is hard to believe it has been 6 years already.  We've had our share of ups and downs but I wouldn't trade my husband for anything.  We have a mutual love & respect for each other that neither of us has had before.  I'm looking forward to growing old together.

We didn't do much for our anniversary because we are taking a vacation in a couple weeks.  I took Dave to dinner and he bought me flowers & we had my diamond put in a new setting.  We did several more home improvement projects this weekend and we also had a retirement party to go to for my co-worker Sylvia.

I painted the last wall in the kitchen and it took me half the day.  It wasn't much of a wall, but tons of trim to tape around and paint around which slows me down.  We also installed a new light fixture in the mancave.  We had one of those 80's style fixtures, which was original to the house. The new fixture has those Edison bulbs in it and although I love the fixture, the Edison bulbs aren't very bright and have an orange hue to them.  We'll probably need to change those out to something a bit brighter.

Dave hung the Vikings plaque he got from Jessica.  It looks really nice.
