What's New...

We've had some much happening over these past few weeks.  Within a weeks time, Dave's cousin Travis, who was only 41, died.  That really hits home as he was my age.  The following day my uncle Lonnie died. 

Then my mom told me that my cousin Lisa had brain surgery and the tumor is malignant.  I have not heard the biopsy results yet, but I know the plan is to start chemo & radiation right away.  At the same time my cousin Dan was in a serious motorcycle accident.  Has been a very sad few weeks. I have not heard what all happened with my cousin Dan, but I know he is out of the hospital.  Hoping he will make a full recovery.  I cried about my cousin Lisa.  It's not good when it is in your brain and I know she is going to have a long & difficult road ahead.  I also learned that an aunt on her mom's side died of the same thing.

On a lighter note, this picture was on a poster board at my uncle's funeral and made me smile.  This is my uncle Lonnie and my dad.  Looks like my dad is giving him a hard time about something.
