Saturday was Addison's (our granddaughter's) birthday party. She turned 5. She was adorable in her little pink ballerina dress. I could tell she was having a blast as she played with her little friends and she definitely loved opening all her presents. We were thrilled to attend her party. Zane on the other hand was in a foul mood. Not sure what his deal was, but he was complaining about everything, UNTIL there was a pinata with candy, then his mood changed.
We then attended a house warming party at our friend's house (Omar & Lorena). They just bought a beautiful house in Waukee. We had such a great time and just as things were really getting fun, it was Zane's bedtime and he was getting sleepy so we headed home. But all in all it was a great day and evening.
